SubKulture Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based production company with an emphasis on the Korean entertainment industry. Our management team is comprised of highly experienced personnel in the field of K-pop concert promotion, as well as TV/Film production.
We have been an integral part of K-pop concerts in the USA since 2009, which includes convention-style festivals and other large-scale events. In the past 2 years, SubKulture Entertainment has successfully completed tours for BTS, Block B, GOT7, SHINee, and K.A.R.D.
Furthermore, with a background in TV/Film, our team has managed numerous international productions, ranging from reality shows such as Show Me The Money, BTS: American Hustle Life, Dancing 9, and long-running shows such as SuperStar K and K-pop Star. Along with TV programming, SubKulture Entertainment also manages photo shoot productions, including cover shoots for W and ELLE magazines, featuring the likes of Park Bo Gum, Park Seo Joon, Kim Woo Bin, Daniel Henney, as well as Lee Min Ho.
With the extensive experience and understanding of the industry we have gained over the years, SubKulture Entertainment aims to bridge the entertainment industry in Korea to the fanbase in America, facilitating projects as the premier production company in the United States.
THE SUBK TEAM
Derek Lee has been a TV/Film producer since 2007, and has been working in the K-pop industry since 2009 as a Technical Director. He has an interest in all forms of media, having served as Senior Vice President of KoreAm Journal and Audrey Magazine.
Ellen is highly experienced in a variety of departments, including ticket management, marketing, and media relations. Her childhood passion for live events led her to pursue a career in the K-pop industry, and has been active since 2003.
With dual degrees in Radio/TV/Film and Spanish Language, Anna is equipped with a technical background that complements the growing SubK team. A true polyglot, she is also a veteran of broadcasting networks such as SBS and KBS, and brings her experience as the latest addition to the company.
Amy has been involved in different aspects of the entertainment industry since 2012. With a passion for entertainment, Amy aims to help the bridge between Korean entertainment and bring it to an international fanbase.
